I have recently become a denim addict. I never realized how important it was to have a good pair of jeans sitting in your closet. Makes the “throw on whatever” days easy and more stylish when you have a go-to pair. I usually don’t wear a lot of denim because I have a hard time finding a pair that fits right. I have generous curves with some pretty masculine calves, that makes it hard to find the perfect skinny jean.
I started to become obsessed with the cut off culottes trend because I could easily find a pair that fit when I only had to worry about the waist size. The culotte trend breaths everywhere else and has been perfect for the hot summer months.
However, Grlfrnd Denim is a game changer. The pair I splurged on is a perfect high-rise style with a light blue wash, with the added interest with the shadow pockets. The cotton material is different than any other jeans I have ever worn. The material is tight when you first wear these jeans but the more you wear the jeans the better they will fit.
High rise jeans have become the only way to go for me. It is always the most flattering style on me and I enjoy the vintage feel when I wear high-rise.
The pair I bought is the Karolina High Rise Skinny style in the Whole Lotta Love wash. Features I love about these jeans are the button fly, which accentuates the high-rise look. The frayed hem cut off style which makes these jeans look great with heels and wedges. The slit hem also makes it easy to roll up the jeans for more of a summer style that looks great dressed down with sandals or chic tennis shoes. These are skinny jeans but with extra room to move in. I am glad I discovered this brand and I cannot wait to add more styles to my closet.
