Today I am sharing a new series of my daily style tips about how I put together my outfits every day. This guide is here to help when your having an outfit crisis and have no idea what to wear.
Whenever Fall comes around I am eyeing all the warm autumn hues and cozy attire. I have been wanting to add more of the rusted orange hues to my wardrobe for added autumn flare. As soon as I bought a few pieces in a dark pumpkin color I immediately fell in love with how the color complimented my hair and skin tone. I almost always gravitate towards clothes in dark blues and greens because they bring out my blue-green eyes and auburn locks. Over the years my closet has become over saturated with these go-to colors and I have become in desperate need of a little more variety in color.
Colors that Compliment
I never considered how a dark orange shade would be the perfect compliment to my hair. Change things up and experiment with a new color. It is important to stay open-minded when testing out new colors in various shades. It is a great way to find a new color that you have never tried before. Then when you discover colors that compliment your skin tone or hair it creates an easier way to pick out an outfit that makes you feel great and confident.
An Easy Work Outfit
I liked mixing this bright colored rust top from Sezane with a checkered, light grey, oversized blazer for a sophisticated edge. As soon as I saw this Parisian blouse online with the black necktie detail I had to snag it. If you have been reading my blog the past few months you know how obsessed I am with the tie neckline trend. A trend that will never die in my book. Anyway, this blouse is extremely versatile and is a staple piece for the classy workwear wardrobe. The blouse can be worn out on the town with an edgy leather jacket or dressed down with a comfortable pair of jeans. Even add a cozy touch for fall by layering a Sezane sweater over the top like this one. A nice, casual look for Friendsgiving or Thanksgiving.
Unfortunately, the caramel-rust color I am wearing is sold out right now but they still have the cream, floral print, or black with gold dots in stock. Follow the link here. Scroll up to find the rest of the outfit details at the beginning of the post.
