I am all about the romantic dots for Valentine’s day. Polka dots are a retro style and no matter what piece you wear it always gives off a classy, vintage vibe. The dots can be worn in many different ways and there are always many styles to choose from. Perfect for a romantic date night with the boy at an Italian restaurant like Cranelli’s or Venice Ristorante. Plus, a dazzling dot outfit would be a great choice for a night on the town for Galentine’s Day.
Outfit 1 Details:
The first outfit I styled is the white pleated polka dot skirt and red Sezané sweater with the ruffled detail. A more casual and comfortable way to get dressed up for a date. The sweater and tights keep you cozy for a classic dinner. Or a movie kind of night. The pop of red makes the outfit a festive option for a lovely evening. I am keeping my Valentine’s Day simple and basic this year with a home-cooked meal like this eggplant
Outfit 2 Details:
The second outfit with the red polka dot dress is perfect for a romantic outdoor date. The sleeveless tank gives off more of a summer vibe. The dress has adorable and playful romantic details with the crooked buttons and ruffled hem. I can picture wearing it out on a bike ride around the city or for a little picnic in Cheesman Park. I hope the weather is nice enough to get outside for some outdoor adventures this February. Also, you can consider wearing this dress for Galentine’s Day. It would be perfect for the free Sock Hop at Dry Dock Brewing Co. The one that is being hosted by Swinging Denver.
These are just a few outfit and date ideas to get you inspired to get out of the house and make plans for V-Day. Stay tuned for more outfit and date ideas for more of a casual evening and for more of a fancy and elegant night out. Plus I will share my gift guide full of ideas on useful things to buy for your significant other with affordable and splurge options.
