Spring Hats

The Transitional Hat

Happy first day of Spring!! With the weather finally warming up and the sun shining it is time to bring out all the Spring hats! I am a girl that could wear a different hat with every outfit. Hats are the perfect finishing touch. As the sun starts to warm up I like to keep my face protected. I have very fair skin that burns really easily, so I do everything I can to stay shaded.

A neutral colored, wide brim, felt, Panama hat is a must-have for any closet. It is a piece that can easily be transitioned through any season. I loved adding this hat to a spring inspired outfit with the pastel pink, wide-leg, cropped pants and the whimsical avocado tee from The Wholesome Store.  An easy breezy outfit that screams Spring from head to toe. As you may have noticed I have been living in these espadrilles from Doen. They are the most comfortable shoes for Spring, that are easy to walk in for exploring a new town.

The Beach Hat

Spring is the time of year to bring all the staw accessories out. Straw accessories like hats, bags, shoes are a breathable way to add texture to any outfit. This Spring hat is the perfect beach hat. It is wide enough for ultimate coverage and has an adjustable fit on the inside that you can secure on your head so the ocean breeze doesn’t take it away. The straw hat is not complete without the straw backpack. I bought this bag from a store called the Wild Minimalist, where they specialize in products that help people transition to zero waste. There are so many ways to use this bag like carrying all your goodies from the farmers market and it is the perfect beach bag.
This outfit is the ultimate Spring travel outfit. I picture myself daytripping to a colorful beach town grabbing lunch. Or hanging around a boardwalk, watching the ocean for some dolphins to come along, ice cream cone in hand. The light blue stripe top and the pastel floral print are the perfect nautical combo for a spring beach vacation.

The Gardener Hat

This is the kind of Spring hat that I see myself wearing as I prepare my garden for Spring. Or I can picture wearing this hat in a giant field of freshly bloomed Spring flowers. The lampshade style was what first drew me to this hat. It is a unique shape and a cute outfit addition. The light blue tie paired with the pastel yellow shirt and white skirt is a great spring outfit that is made for a night out on a warm spring night. As always I picture myself traveling when I dress. I can see myself wearing this outfit in Hawaii, walking around a coffee plantation or escaping to a dinner spot with an ocean view. Or walking around a historic town like Savannah looking at all the Spring flowers and charming architecture.

    1. Thank you Kat! I have always admired your hat collection and style too! A girl can never have too many hats ☺️
