The sun and fresh air are great motivators for getting your butt off the couch and working out. But there are some days you need a little extra motivation. I am keeping myself motivated to stay active with some new Spring workout outfits. If I feel cute when I am working out I know it is going to be a good day. And that confidence carries into everything I do for the rest of the day.
To be honest I have been falling off my workout routine. Life has been so crazy hectic that I haven’t made the time like I would like to dedicate to my workout routine. It has been a tough start to the year with a lot of grinding that has needed to be done. When I lose track of my routine than I am completely lost on how to get back in gear. I love working out every day but have only managed to work out a couple times a week lately. It really gets stressful when you cant get a workout in like you want especially when I have a big Hawaii trip coming up in a month where I want to look good.
Trying to time block and schedule things out has not always achievable. I am always rushing around to catch up on my things that are scheduled out. Feeling completely worn down when I have a free moment. I need to start my self-motivation early in the day so I can get the workout out of the way and start my day right. It is time for me to change my routine and start forcing myself to wake up early to get the workout in.
I really needed some retail therapy to get myself up and going again. Retail therapy is sometimes the best cure for lack of motivation. What I wear plays a big part on how I feel inside. That is why I love expressing inner confidence through cute outfits and why I like sharing my cute outfits. I want to motivate others to use fashion to feel good and confident.
With Spring finally here and the weather getting warmer I am more motivated in the morning to get outside and run. The endorphins always flood my brain when I get to workout outside. Especially at a lovely Denver park like Cheesman Park and Wash Park. I am also going to start giving myself more time outside by going on hikes whenever I have a day off. Getting to be outside is the best self-care therapy. The fresh air and open spaces give my mind room to relax and enjoy the moment. Something I have been neglecting this winter.
This floral outfit is from DYI, which means Define Your Inspiration. All those flower lovers out there have to check this brand out. They have some of the cutest floral printed leggings and sports bras.
Nothing says Spring like florals and gingham. I have been wanting to buy gingham in every color lately. When I saw this green gingham activewear by Albion Fit, I had to get it. Colorful gingham is my favorite trend this season. It has been making me want to add more color to my wardrobe. I went through too long of a phase where I was wearing black all the time. It was time to give the black gear a rest and add something cute and fun to wear when working out. I encourage you guys to try out a colorful gingham. There are so many cute outfits out there in every color. It would be the perfect print for all your fun activities on Easter.
I, of course, had to buy some new Spring-worthy tennis shoes too. APL is my favorite brand of running shoes and I have been wearing them for years. They provide the best comfort, bounce, and grip when I go on my runs. They come in every color including a new line of gorgeous pastel colors. I had such a hard time trying to decide what color to buy! You can never go wrong with pink, it seemed like the best color to go with any outfit. But I am still tempted to buy the pastel blue and green too.
Has it been a busy year for you? What have you been struggling with? How do you stay motivated, and find the time to workout in this busy world? I could use some advice!
