Holiday Skirt Outfit

December 9, 2018
Gal Meets Glam red tweed skirt

Are you a festive dresser? Do you like decorating yourself as much as the Christmas tree this time of year? If so, you are in the right place. I love expressing my holiday cheer through my outfits. The more cheesy glitter, dazzling bows, velvet, red, green, silver and gold, the better. In fact, that is all I want to wear this time of year. As Christmas is getting closer and closer I will be sharing holiday approved outfits for every occasion so you can have inspiration for all your holiday festivities. Let’s start with this adorable Gal Meets Glam holiday skirt.

This skirt screams “Meeeerrrrry Christmas”, just like how Santa Clause would say. I think Mrs. Clause would approve too. I can totally see her rocking this outfit. The cheery red, full skirt, with a little sequin detail and a tweed material make this the perfect look to rock at the office or at a gathering like a office Christmas party. Or it simply could be a festive way to get ready for the Christmas day itself. I am one that loves dressing up for Christmas, even though I have no where special to go I enjoy dressing nice for the special occasion. As soon as those presents are unwrapped I am off changing into my fanciest Christmas outfit. I have always loved receiving clothes on Christmas, for as long as I can remember. A true fashionista from birth.

The sweater that I am wearing with the bow details on the sleeves is a piece I bought from J Crew last year. I also wore it here. It is such a soft cashmere sweater and the creamy white color makes it the perfect top to pair with anything festive. If you don’t want to go over the top with Christmas colors something white or cream is a great way to tone it down for a more classic look. But if you do want to show off your festive cheer check out all my holiday picks that have festive bows on them above.

I will be sharing festive ways to dress down too so you can stay comfortable while decorating the house, shopping for presents, baking cookies or picking a Christmas tree. There are so many good traditions to dress for. And remember you can never go wrong with a ugly Christmas sweater or simply wear your favorite red sweater or top with some bold statement jewelry and your set. Don’t worry I’ll show you what I’m thinking. I have a lot of holiday outfit ideas that I can’t wait to share with you. Stay tuned!!

Thank you so much for following my blog, and Happy Holidays to you and your family!
