I always love pulling out my favorite dresses whenever I am feeling ready to take on the day full on. Lately, I have been throwing a blazer over every dress for a quick throw on and go style that is practical for winter. Mix in a silk neck scarf and a classic hat and you have an easy 1940’s inspired look. A decade that I always love studying for style inspiration. Every movie or photo from this time period I am idolizing every detail of the outfits women are wearing.
Of course, my favorite Gal Meets Glam dresses always make it easier to capture these favorite vintage styles from every decade. All you need is the right accessories to really take the vintage style up a notch. As for the blazer, I found this beauty among others after rummaging through an estate sale. A new found
After getting dolled up in this ensemble I decided to do a little exploring and try a new coffee spot. It is amazing how many places there are to explore in this city. Even after feeling like I have explored so much of Denver, and often feeling very tired of living in the same place for so long. It is refreshing to find little corners that I never knew existed. That was the case when I found The Study at the Teatro Hotel. Even on a Sunday morning in the heart of the city, the room was quiet with only a few hotel guests popping in and out. We bought our coffee from the restaurant across the hall called the Nickel. Next time we visit we will have to try their brunch.
It was nice indulging in a quiet morning in a historic and trendy place in the city. I wish there were more charming spots like this hidden gem scattered around Colorado but for now, I will have to keep uncovering what I can and dig up more hidden treasures. I cannot wait to share more of these experiences and my estate sale finds.
This vintage blazer is currently for sale on my Poshmark account here with more of my vintage finds. An online Window Seat View vintage shop that is inspired by vintage adventures will be coming soon. Stay tuned. And thank you for reading.
