Brighten up your world and closet for spring with me this Saturday! I am happy to announce that I will be hosting a fun styling event with JCrew at the Flatiron Crossing Mall!! I am so excited to have this opportunity to host my very first styling event with a brand that I truly love.
This event goes from 12-4 and includes drinks, snacks, and a discount if you RSVP with the link. I would love to see you at the event if you live in the area. There are so many fun new spring arrivals that I can help you style too! Like this outfit, I am wearing. Which includes the most comfortable cropped wide leg pants I have ever owned (available in many colors) and this happy yellow everyday tank. The perfect casual look for spring that incorporates a bright vibe that instantly lifts you out of a winter funk. I can’t wait to wear these pieces for my upcoming tropical vacation too! I think these will be a great outfit to wear on the plane to my destination.

Although JCrew may not be the most sustainable place to shop (which I strive towards most of the time) I believe if you consciously shop when going into one of these large brands and only buy what you need then a place like JCrew is a great place to find a closet essential at a good price. And everything I have bought from JCrew has been quality made. Not all of us can afford to buy an entire wardrobe of sustainably made clothing but we can start somewhere. And I believe if we really love a brand we have the power to use our voices to make them think differently about how they make their clothing. We just have to demand a sustainable future and a fair wage and with enough voices, they will start to listen.
I just have to say it is a dream come true to finally see progress from the work that I have put into this blog. I truly love everything about being a fashion blogger and the pursuit of my creative ideas every day brings me so much joy. I work hard to improve my craft and I really do hope I bring value to those who read my blog.
Although I may not have the numbers to socially prove my worth in this blogging world, I have proven to myself that my hard work and desire mean more than the numbers on Instagram. So if you are a fashion blogger like me, struggling with Instagram, my biggest advice is to just ignore those numbers because you can still have big accomplishments without those numbers if you are committed to your work and helping others. I don’t even have 1000 followers but I was able to land my first sponsored event from a well-known brand, and I received my very first free outfit as a blogger. Remember you are more powerful than you realize. And every powerful woman should wear that power with a bold and colorful outfit that boost that confidence. Brightening up your world with a splash of color will always do the trick. Don’t be afraid to be bold or different.
Also, if you saw my try on video at JCrew on my stories here are all the links to the pieces I tried on.
I am so thankful for this opportunity and for everyone’s who has ever supported my blog.
Oh and here are some of the dresses I am loving at the moment at JCrew. A girl can never have
