I have been jumping on a trendy fashion bandwagon again. But it is nothing too crazy
So I decided it was time to add a denim jumpsuit to my summer collection because I just fell in love with how they looked when I saw people wearing them. I love the retro 70’s western vibes that a denim jumpsuit has. I had been eyeing all the jumpsuits from Ilana Kohn for several months and knew it was the perfect style that I was looking for. I kept trying to save for one because they are pretty pricy. But then I got lucky and found this one on Poshmark, in my size, lightly worn, and at practically half the price. But let me tell you this outfit is worth every penny even if you are paying full price.
The Ilana Kohn jumpsuit is so flattering and comfortable on everyone that wears one. The straight leg style makes it comfortable for all-day wear. And I love the rolled up sleeve look on this style. But it is just as cute rolled down. The front buttons and pockets really add a flattering look that is a little more modern and eye-catching. If you are not looking for a denim one they have many other colors and styles. The material is durable and made to last. It will be an item I hold on to for my lifetime. I love how I can wear this item for every season too. The long sleeve style may be a little heavy for hot summer days but we have had a lot of mild summer days with lots of rain and this has been my favorite go-to outfit.
If you are looking for a denim jumpsuit and don’t want to go for an Ilana Kohn because it is out of your price range you have to look at all the vintage ones online on Poshmark, Etsy, and Depop. There are so many cute ones that are affordable for every budget. Also, check out these styles from some of my favorite sustainable brands. Like the Ozma organic chambray jumpsuit. The subtly striped one from Christy Dawn. This tied white jumpsuit from Hack With Design House is super cute too. Love this brown one from Conrado too. This denim romper from Frank and Oak would be perfect for those hotter summer days too.
So this probably won’t be my last jumpsuit I buy but I would say it is a wardrobe staple that every girl needs for those casual days adventuring on the weekend. Running to the mountains, hiking, camping, farming, gardening, and every other casual summer activity. Are you into jumpsuits right now? Which styles are your most worn must haves? I will be sharing more of my summer wardrobe picks in another post soon with everything that I wear constantly that is my summer wardrobe foundational base that I can not live without. It should be helpful for you if you are looking to form your wardrobe foundational pieces and build a capsule wardrobe. A summer capsule wardrobe is what I have been trying to accomplish more with my purchases. So I have been limiting my purchases and only buying items with the intention that I will wear the new piece many ways with the things I already own. Anyway, more of that to come soon too. Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you found this post helpful and that you find a jumpsuit you love if you are looking for one.
