So Many Places To Explore
The greatest thing about living in Colorado is that there is always so many natural wonders to see. If you made it your life mission to see something new every day in Colorado, you would still die before you came close to seeing everything. I wish life and work didn’t get in the way so we could see more of this beautiful state and this gigantic world. My passion for travel has always been rooted deep in my bones. That is why I called my blog Window Seat View. As soon as I can take traveling more seriously my travels will become more prominent content on this blog.
Building a Vagabound Lifestyle One Step at a Time
I am a big dreamer when it comes to traveling but I take my dreams very seriously and take action every day towards manifesting what I want my life to look like. This year I have been working hard to start a digital marketing agency that will eventually allow me to make money and travel at the same time. I hate being location dependent. The digital nomad life has always been calling my name. Since I am pursuing such a big task of starting my own business, I have been taking a lot of sacrifices to get the business running. Both money and time have to be put into the business in order for it to succeed. That has meant that this year has not been filled with a lot of traveling around the world. But that doesn’t mean I have to suffer.
My Colorado Bucket List
I have gradually been crossing things off my Colorado Bucket list, like the Paint Mines. One evening my boyfriend and I took a drive through the rural countryside of Colorado. The open space drive was far away from the city and surrounded by farmland. We were able to leave at 5 pm and did not run into any traffic that is how rural it was. In fact, we only r
The Magical Paint Mines
The best time to go see the paint mines is for sunrise or sunset. The colors on the rocks match the color of the sky. Which makes you realize why we call this state colorful Colorado. It really helped to visit this tourist attraction on a weeknight too. There were only a handful of cars there with us as opposed to several dozen. I can imagine that this location draws a lot of people on the weekend. The thing that makes this canyon so special is the history. The colors from the rocks were used by Native Americans to paint their pottery hence the name, the Paint Mines.
Keeping My Wanderlust Content With Colorado Day Trips
It was truly one amazing evening adventuring deep into the middle of nowhere to find this hidden gem. To everyone in the need of a little adventure, I highly recommend this day trip. I wish I could have stayed out there all night to watch the Milky Way light up the darkness and glisten against the colors of the rocks. I want to experience these moments every day and take you along on the journey. And one day I will. One day soon I will pack up the airstream and take on the road without returning home for several months or years. But for now, Colorado adventures will keep my inner wanderlust content until I have that airstream and a vagabond lifestyle. We all have different ways to get to our destination all that matters is if we take the leap to actually go when the opportunity is there.
Adventure Outfit Ideas
Now, if you are here looking for the perfect adventure outfit, I got you covered in that department. I included the maker of this jumpsuit in my recent post “My Running List of Linen Clothing Brands“. There are so many reasons to fall in love with this brand Linenfox. I guarantee they have everything and more that you are looking for when it comes to linen clothing. There really are too many cute designs to choose from like this amazing lavender jumpsuit with the kimono style sleeves.
More About Linenfox
Linenfox is a made-to-order, slow fashion brand. They cut down on fashion waste by making everything as soon as it is ordered by the consumer. What is nice about slow fashion is that you can make small adjustments to the designs to help tailor it to your size and style. I custom ordered this jumpsuit with longer pant legs. The original design was a cropped style, which I have kind of got tired of because I am too lazy to shave my legs most days. Customizing the length turned out so cute and perfect for my style. I can easily throw this outfit on and run out the door which is always a plus.
Adding Lavender to My Wardrobe
I am also so glad I found something to add to my closet in a lavender shade. This shade of purple is very subtle and earthy which makes it feel less in your face and easier to wear. The jumpsuit can easily be styled with other fall colors too like browns and tans. It is a very neutral shade of purple which I absolutely love. And of course, this color was perfect for this shoot because it matched the rocks so well. But if you like the style of the jumpsuit and not the color you can have it made into practically any color you want. And they have some really amazing fall colors that would be perfect for the upcoming season. I highly recommend checking this amazing brand out and investing in one of their items. For a sustainable brand, they are a little bit pricey but they won’t break the bank. Unless you want to buy everything. Then that might be a problem. But I hope you enjoyed this post and find the perfect outfit for your next adventure.
