Focusing My Money On More Important Things
After Christmas, I took a shopping break so I could save money for bigger things like a trip and a new camera. January and February
My First Addition to My Spring Wardrobe
But as soon as I have that trip booked and spring fever starts to kick in I feel more inspired to add things to my wardrobe. I always carefully select what I add to my closet. And I am still trying to add a lot of basic elements that I am lacking. I was lacking a lighter layer like a baggy linen jacket. I had been looking at options online and was seriously considering investing in an Atelier Delphine jacket. But then I received a surprise gift from LinenFox. And lucky for me, they had a similar style at a fraction of the price. I received this jacket for free because they liked a photo I posted on Instagram in their lavender jumpsuit.
I knew with spring coming that this style would be a perfect light layer. So I decided to go for a fun spring color so I could add more variety to my wardrobe. I really love the green color of this jacket . I always call this color lemongrass because of the pretty yellow undertones. Green is one of my favorite colors to wear in the spring so it is nice to add a variety of shades to my wardrobe that I can create fun and colorful outfits with.
The Baggy Minimalist Look AKA The Modern Hippy Look
I have also been really into the baggy, yet minimalist style. It is an easy style to wear when you want something comfortable. Every piece of this outfit is from some of my favorite sustainable brands. I am going to wear and restyle all of these pieces in many different ways all throughout spring and summer. So make sure to follow along to see how I re-style these wardrobe classics. And as always thanks for stopping by and reading my blog!
The white pants are from Hemp Clothing Australia. The Top is from Cocobolo. The hat is from Westperro. And the jacket is from LinenFox. I highly reccommend checking out all of these brands if you are looking to invest in some new pieces for your spring wardrobe.
