Support Small While We Still Can
I thought I would formally share the latest sustainable brand I am obsessing over. I haven’t done one of these posts in way too long. With the pandemic, it has been tough to write about things like clothes because it has felt so insignificant when there was a crisis we were all facing. But First Rite Clothing is one you are going to want to know about. Especially if any of you still have the financial capability to support smaller sustainable labels. Right now they are the businesses that are struggling most right now. Which makes supporting what we love more important than ever. We may face a tremendous set back in the months to come with unemployment numbers rising. And more and more businesses suffering we all need to support eachothers work wherever we can.
For The Capsule Wardrobe Fans and Wannabes
First Rite Clothing was founded in California by the designer Nikki Garcia in 2015. The collection is comprised of simple shapes that create a ongoing cycle of interchangeable sets that you can mix and match. Basically the most perfect capsule wardrobe of your dreams. These pieces are designed to be worn in every season too which is another bonus if you are trying to love your clothes more and make them last. The designs don’t lack in quality either. The textiles are high quality and naturally derived and all sewn in California. And their sweater collection is made by a woman factory in Peru.
Fill The Void in Your Spring Wardrobe
I guarantee you will find something worthwhile at First Rite Clothing. It is a great place for finding that essential piece that fills a void in your wardrobe. I have personally been obsessed with this set that I bought from them and I have been wearing it all spring. Mixing the pants and top in many different ways with the clothes I already own. If you can afford to check them out, make sure you check out their sale section because they have tons of cute things on major discount now. Also, there is a bigger selection of sold-out items on Garmentory that you wont want to miss.
